It was the spring on April 24^th in 2024 at the magical Hogo Fogo Jazz & Art Club, when we have established the civic association The City Theatre Banská Bystrica. We aim to revive, support and develop the theatre in the regional city of Banská Bystrica. We would like to follow hundred years old tradition of amateur, semi-professional and professional performers in our city, and to initiate formation of the new, contemporary amateur, semi-professional and professional ensembles and stage works. Our another goal is to organize in the City Theatre Banská Bystrica (located in the Evangelical Society House, on Horná Street 21) a number of cultural, social, pedagogic and educational events and activities.
